The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is much better than Galaxy Tab 8.9, having a 66.3 score against 58.1. Although the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is newer than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, it's just a little bit thicker and noticeably heavier. These tablets include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has the newer 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0, providing the user a couple additional features.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a little bit better display than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a bit more pixels per display inch. Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a quite better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a greater number of faster cores.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a little bit better camera than Galaxy Note 10.1, although it has a lot less megapixels resolution camera in the back and a lower video resolution.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab 8.9, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
