The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has an overall score of 63, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9's 58.1 overall score. Both devices in this comparison review have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a more recent 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a newer tablet than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, although it is a bit thicker and incredibly heavier.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE counts with a better performing CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a larger number of faster cores. Although Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 8.9. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab 8.9, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
