Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is much better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, with a overall score of 65.9 against 58.1. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch's design is noticeably newer and just a little bit thinner, but also somewhat heavier than the Galaxy Tab 8.9. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has the newer 4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version, so it counts with some extra features and some performance improvements.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280px resolution, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a just a bit better pixels quantity per inch in the screen. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a slightly bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage.
