The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is much better than Galaxy Tab 8.9, getting a 67.8 score against 58.1. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 design is much newer and a little thinner than the Galaxy Tab 8.9's, but it's also just a little heavier.
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a greater performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has more cpu cores and an extra graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a bit higher amount of pixels per display inch.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a bit longer battery life than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a 13 percent greater battery size.
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9. Both have a back camera with a 3 MP resolution, the same video definition and the same video frame rates.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is not only the best tablets in our comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest one.
