Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is much better than Galaxy Tab 8.9, with a 70.2 score against 58.1. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) construction is way newer and a little bit thinner than the Galaxy Tab 8.9's, but it is also heavier. Both of these tablets have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version, so it gives you a couple additional features and a performance increase.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), although it has a much lower resolution of 800 x 1280px, a little bit smaller display and a just a little worse pixels number per display inch. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a quite superior processing power than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has more cores.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) counts with a way better camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a way higher 8 megapixels resolution back camera and a lot higher 1920x1080 video resolution. Galaxy Tab 8.9 features just a bit bigger storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage.
