Comparison review
The Galaxy View 2 is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, with a global score of 65.3 against 58.1. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy View 2 has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0, so it counts with a couple nice extra features and optimized performance. The Galaxy View 2 is a noticeably newer tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, although it's notably thicker and heavier.
Galaxy View 2 counts with a quite better performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a greater number of cores. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a way better looking screen than Galaxy View 2, because although it has a much lower resolution of 800 x 1280 and a really smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels density.
Samsung Galaxy View 2 features a superior storage for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy View 2 also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB. The Galaxy View 2 features a superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has 12000mAh of battery capacity against 6000mAh.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a very superior camera than Galaxy View 2.
Although Samsung Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy View 2, else you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, letting go a couple specs and features.
