Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is slightly better than the Sony Tablet S, getting a 58.1 score against 57.5. Both tablets in this comparison have Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has an older 3.0 version while Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0. Even though Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and the Sony Tablet S were released with only 1 months difference, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a lot lighter and somewhat thinner.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has just a bit better looking screen than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a little bit higher pixel quantity per inch of screen. Sony Tablet S has just a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab 8.9. Both have 2 CPU cores.
