Comparison review
The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is a lot better than Galaxy Tab 8.9, with a general score of 69.8 against 58.1. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet has newer 4.4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0. Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is a a lot newer device, and it's also incredibly thinner and just a bit lighter than Galaxy Tab 8.9.
The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet counts with a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a way higher 1200 x 1920px resolution, a better quantity of pixels per inch of display and a little bit larger screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a lot bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Xperia Z2 Tablet features a much better performing CPU than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a greater number of cores and an extra graphics co-processor. The Xperia Z2 Tablet has a battery life that is very similar to the battery lifetime in Galaxy Tab 8.9. The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet counts with a better camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a lot better video resolution and a much higher 8.1 MP resolution camera in the back.
Despite of being the best tablet in this comparison, Xperia Z2 Tablet is also cheaper than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, which makes it a very good choice.
