Comparison review
The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is way better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, getting a general score of 71.3 against 58.1. Both tablets in our current comparison have Android operating system, but Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has the newer 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version, giving a couple additional features and enhanced performance. Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is a way newer device, and it is also much lighter and noticeably thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9.
The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact counts with a much powerful processor than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a greater number of cores (and also faster) and an additional graphics processor. The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact counts with a better display than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater screen pixel density and a much better resolution of 1920 x 1200.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has more storage for games and applications than Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 48 GB more internal memory. The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact captures much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a much better 1920x1080 video resolution and a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with better battery performance than Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
