Comparison review
The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, having a global score of 74.7 against 58.1. The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet construction is somewhat lighter and thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9. These devices use Android OS, but Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has newer 5.0 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features.
Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet counts with a better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a bit larger display, a much greater screen pixels density and a much higher 1600 x 2560 resolution. Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet features a bit bigger storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
Xperia Z4 Tablet features a much greater hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has 6 more cpu cores, a 64 bits processing unit and a GPU. Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet counts with a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a way better video resolution and a back camera with way more mega-pixels.
Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet's battery life is just as good as Galaxy Tab 8.9's battery life.
Although Xperia Z4 Tablet is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab 8.9. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 8.9, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
