Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a score of 70.2, which is much better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's score of 60.8. Although Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is much heavier than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, it's just a little bit thinner and way newer. These tablets come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2, so it gives you a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations.
