Apple iPad mini 4 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), getting a general score of 75.6 against 70.2. Apple iPad mini 4 is a thinner and way lighter device than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), although they were released only a couple months apart. The Apple iPad mini 4 works with iOS 9.x operating system, while Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) comes with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.
Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has just a little better processing power than iPad mini 4, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) also has a higher number of cores (and also faster). The Apple iPad mini 4 has a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per display inch and a slightly higher 2048 x 1536 resolution.
Apple iPad mini 4 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), although it has a much smaller aperture which is not good for capturing images or video in low-light situations, they both have the same video frame rate, the same 1920x1080 video quality and a 8 MP back facing camera.
IPad mini 4 has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) counts with a much longer battery life than iPad mini 4, because it has a 42% larger battery size.
