The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), having a 73.3 score against 70.2. Both tablets in this review use Android operating system, but the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has the older 8.0 Oreo version while Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has Android 8.1 Oreo. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite is a a lot newer tablet, and it is also just a little thinner and just a little bit lighter than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016).
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite counts with a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016). They have the same exact resolution of 1920 x 1200, a greater pixel number in each inch in the display and a display of the same size. Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because it has more internal storage and a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 256 GB.
