Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is a bit better than the Galaxy Note 8.0, with a general score of 70.2 against 69.2. These tablets work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version while Galaxy Note 8.0 has Android 4.4.2, so it counts with a couple nice extra features and a performance increase. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016)'s design is noticeably newer than the Galaxy Note 8.0's, although it is a little bit thicker and a lot heavier.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 features a little sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), although it has a much lower resolution of 800 x 1280, a quite worse pixels density and a much smaller display. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) counts with a quite bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 200 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has 4 lesser cpu cores, and they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also counts with an additional graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) features a much better battery duration than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 59 percent greater battery capacity.
