The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a general score of 70.2, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's 66.2 overall score. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) design is notably newer, but a little bit thicker and extremely heavier than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has the newer 8.1 Oreo version while Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has Android 4.4.2.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) features just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and more CPU cores.
