Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is much better than Galaxy Tab, having a general score of 70.2 against 58.6. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016)'s design is much newer and noticeably thinner, but a lot heavier than Galaxy Tab. Both tablets in our current comparison include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version and Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3, counting with a couple nice extra features.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has just a bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab, because it has a greater pixel number per inch of display, a much larger display and a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab, although it has less internal memory capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has 7300mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) shoots a lot better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a much better 8 mega pixels resolution camera in the back and a way higher video definition.
