These tablets use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has the previous 4.4.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has Android 8.1 Oreo version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 body is notably lighter and thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), even though it was released 2 years before.
