Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a score of 70.2, which is much better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's 57.6 global score. Even though the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is a better tablet than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, it must be told that it is also a heavier and a bit thicker tablet. These devices include Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, so it provides you lots of additional features and a performance increase.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1200 x 1920 resolution, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also counts with a better pixels density. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 200 GB.
