The Google Pixel Slate is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), having a 79.3 score against 76.7. The Google Pixel Slate counts with Chrome OS OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) works with Android 11 OS. The Google Pixel Slate body is just a little bit thinner but much heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), and they were released with only 5 months difference.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) counts with a little faster CPU than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has 13 GB less RAM, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and faster). Google Pixel Slate counts with a sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), because it has more pixels per inch of display, a much better 3000 x 2000 pixels resolution and a bigger screen.

Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019). So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Google Pixel Slate, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), giving up a couple features and specs.
