Comparison review

Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), getting a general score of 78 against 76.7. Although it's the best portable tablet in this comparison, it must be told that it is also older, extremely heavier and a bit thicker. These tablets use Android OS, but Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has the older 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has Android 11 version.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a brighter display than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), because it has a little better screen density, a larger display and a better resolution of 1600 x 2560. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) features much more memory for apps and games than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because it has a SD extension slot that supports up to 512 GB and 64 GB more internal memory.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), and although they both have 3 GB of RAM and the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has an extra graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), because it has 9500mAh of battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) captures better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, although it has slower 30 fps video frame rates, they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same resolution back-facing camera.
