The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a general score of 74.5, which is a lot better than the LG G Pad 8.0's score of 58.6. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a much heavier but extremely thinner tablet than the LG G Pad 8.0. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0, providing the user some extra features.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features a little faster processor than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with 2 GB more RAM and a larger number of cores. The LG G Pad 8.0 has a slightly better screen than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, although it has a quite worse quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, a lot lower resolution of 1280 x 800 and a much smaller display.

Galaxy Tab A 10.5 captures way better photographs and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also has a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features much more memory capacity for apps and games than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a much longer battery duration than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a 74 percent bigger battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G Pad 8.0. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, otherwise you can save some money and buy the LG G Pad 8.0, giving up some specifications.
