Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a much heavier but extremely thinner tablet than the LG G Pad 8.0. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0, providing the user some extra features.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a much longer battery duration than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a 74 percent bigger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G Pad 8.0. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, otherwise you can save some money and buy the LG G Pad 8.0, giving up some specifications.
