The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a general score of 75.8, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5's 74.5 overall score. Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a a little heavier tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, but they have the same thickness. These tablets include Android OS, but the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has the previous 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a way better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel count in each display inch and a better resolution of 1600 x 2560. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features a way bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 400 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has lesser cpu cores , and they both have a 3 GB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014). They have the same video resolution, the same resolution camera in the back and the same video frame rate.
Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because it has an 8220mAh battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a better device, it is more expensive than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab A 10.5. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Galaxy Tab A 10.5, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
