The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a general score of 74.5, which is much better than Galaxy Tab 7.7's 64.8 score. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Tab 7.7 has Android 4.0.4 version. Galaxy Tab A 10.5's design has the same thickness than the Galaxy Tab 7.7, but it's heavier.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a bit better processing unit than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, although it has a way lower resolution of 800 x 1280, a really smaller screen and a just a little less pixels per inch in the display.
