The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) is a bit better than the Asus Fonepad 7, getting a global score of 60.4 against 58.9. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a newer 5.1 Lollipop version while Asus Fonepad 7 has Android 5.0 version, providing the user some nice extra features. Both of them have the same 1280x720 video quality, a 5 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and the same video frame rate. The Asus Fonepad 7 has slightly more memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has an external memory card slot that admits 136 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage.

So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab A (2016), but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Asus Fonepad 7, giving up some specifications.
