The Asus VivoTab RT has a score of 61, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s 60.4 overall score. Asus VivoTab RT has Windows RT OS, and Galaxy Tab A (2016) works with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Asus VivoTab RT is a notably older and notably heavier tablet device than Galaxy Tab A (2016), but Asus could make it just a little thinner anyway.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) features a bit more vivid screen than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has a little bit worse 800 x 1280px resolution and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a higher count of pixels per screen inch. The Asus VivoTab RT counts with a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal memory.

Asus VivoTab RT counts with a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Tab A (2016), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus VivoTab RT also has a larger amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) features a way better battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab RT. The Asus VivoTab RT features a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a much more megapixels back-facing camera and a way better 1920x1080 video definition.

Although Asus VivoTab RT is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab A (2016). If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Galaxy Tab A (2016), giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
