The Galaxy Tab A (2016) is a bit better than LG G Pad 8.0, with a score of 60.4 against 58.6. The Galaxy Tab A (2016) is a thinner and lighter device than LG G Pad 8.0. Both tablets in this comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab A (2016) has 5.1 Lollipop version and LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0 version, offering a couple additional features and increased performance.

LG G Pad 8.0 has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. LG G Pad 8.0 features a little longer battery life than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G Pad 8.0. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), else you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G Pad 8.0, letting go a couple features and specs.
