The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), with a general score of 62.6 against 60.4. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has 4.0 version while Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop. Although it's the best device in this comparison review, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 is a much older, just a little thicker and heavier device than the Galaxy Tab A (2016).

The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 counts with a little faster CPU than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has 512 MB lesser RAM memory and a lower number of cores, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 features a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a little bit lower amount of pixels per inch of display, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280 resolution, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 also counts with a bigger screen.

The Galaxy Tab A (2016) features a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 200 GB. Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 and Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) count with incredibly similar battery performance, although the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has a 1% lower battery size.

The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A (2016). Both of them have the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution, a same resolution camera and the same 30 fps video frame rates.

Although Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab A (2016). So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab A (2016), giving up some features and specs.
