The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has an overall score of 60.8, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s overall score of 60.4. Despite being the best tablet in this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a noticeably older, thicker and somewhat heavier tablet than Galaxy Tab A (2016). These devices come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has the previous 4.1.2 version and Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Galaxy Tab A (2016) counts with a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and 2 more processing cores. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) have really similar screens, and although the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a just a little inferior quantity of pixels per screen inch and a lot worse 600 x 1024px resolution, they both have a same size display.

Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has an external memory card slot that admits 136 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Tab A (2016) shoots better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab A (2016) also has a camera in the back with a much higher 5 MP resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's battery lifetime is very similar to the battery life in Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016).

Although Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab A (2016). If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy Tab A (2016), letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
