The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a general score of 76.7, which is a lot better than Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s overall score of 60.4. These tablets work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has 13 version and Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is heavier than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), it's noticeably thinner and extremely newer.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 features a bit better display than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a lot bigger display, a higher pixel density and a way higher resolution of 1600 x 2560. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1 TB and more internal memory capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a very superior CPU than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has 4 less cores (although they are faster) and a smaller amount of RAM. The Galaxy Tab S8 captures a lot better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a much higher video quality and a back facing camera with a lot higher 13 mega pixels resolution.

Galaxy Tab S8 has a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a 100% more battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016). If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
