Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is slightly better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, having a score of 62.8 against 60.8. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 construction is newer and thinner than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's, but it is also just a little bit heavier. Both tablets we compare here come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has newer 7.1 Nougat version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2, so it offers lots of additional features.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way higher pixels density and a lot better 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a quite better processing power than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have 4 cores, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has 512 MB more RAM memory and an additional graphics co-processor.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a much better camera than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
