The iPad mini 2 is much better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, getting a score of 77.2 against 62.8. IPad mini 2 counts with iOS 8.x OS, while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 works with Android 7.1 Nougat OS. Despite being the best in this review, it must be told that it is also an older, just a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier portable tablet.
The iPad mini 2 has a superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a graphics co-processor and a 64-bits processor. IPad mini 2 counts with an incredibly better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way better pixels density and a lot higher resolution of 1536 x 2048px.
The iPad mini 2 features a much bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. IPad mini 2 counts with a very superior camera than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a back-facing camera with a 5 MP, the iPad mini 2 also has a way higher video quality.
