Comparison review
The Google Pixel Slate has a global score of 79.3, which is way better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0's overall score of 62.8. Google Pixel Slate works with Chrome OS operating system, while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 works with Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. The Google Pixel Slate body is noticeably newer and just a bit thinner than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0's, but it's also noticeably heavier.
The Google Pixel Slate features an incredibly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a lot bigger screen, a much better resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels and a lot higher screen pixels density. Google Pixel Slate has a way bigger memory for applications and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.
The Google Pixel Slate has just a little better performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has less cpu cores , it also counts with 14,5 GB more RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a really longer battery duration than Google Pixel Slate. The Google Pixel Slate shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a camera in the back with a way higher 8 mega pixels resolution.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab A 8.0. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
