HTC Jetstream has an overall score of 63.6, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0's global score of 62.8. These tablets use Android operating system, but HTC Jetstream has the previous 3.1 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat. Despite being the best in this review, HTC Jetstream is a incredibly older, noticeably heavier and a lot thicker device than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0.
HTC Jetstream features just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has less CPU cores (although they are faster) and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processor. The HTC Jetstream features a brighter screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a bit lower screen density, it also counts with a bigger display and a bit higher 768 x 1280 resolution.
HTC Jetstream counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a way higher 1920x1080 video resolution and a way more megapixels camera in the back. HTC Jetstream features a bit more memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has an external SD slot that supports up to 32 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 16 GB more internal memory capacity.
The HTC Jetstream features a really longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 74 percent bigger battery size.
Although HTC Jetstream is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab A 8.0. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the HTC Jetstream, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, resigning some features and specs.
