Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has an overall score of 62.8, which is a bit better than LG G Pad F2 8.0's 62.7 general score. Both tablets we compare here come with the same Android 7.1 Nougat OS (operating system). Despite of the fact that the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is much older than the LG G Pad F2 8.0, it's construction is a little bit thinner and lighter.

The LG G Pad F2 8.0 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has more RAM and a greater number of cores. LG G Pad F2 8.0 features a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the LG G Pad F2 8.0 also has a quite better 800 x 1280 resolution and a bit higher amount of pixels in each display inch.

LG G Pad F2 8.0's camera is just as good as the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 one, and although the LG G Pad F2 8.0 has a way better (Full HD) video resolution, they both have a same resolution back facing camera. LG G Pad F2 8.0 counts with a much greater storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the LG G Pad F2 8.0 also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with a much better battery duration than LG G Pad F2 8.0, because it has a 40% larger battery size.

Although Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a better device, it is a little more expensive than LG G Pad F2 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G Pad F2 8.0. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab A 8.0, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G Pad F2 8.0, resigning a couple specifications.
