Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a score of 66.2, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0's 62.8 score. These tablets include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has the older 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat. Even being the best portable tablet in this review, we must note that it's also older, a little bit heavier and just a bit thicker.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a 1,5 GB RAM and a Quad-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also has a GPU. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a brighter screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a same size screen, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also has a little higher pixel quantity in each inch of display and a quite better resolution of 1280 x 800.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, although it has a worse 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and a lot worse resolution camera in the back. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with slightly more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 128 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a bit superior battery duration than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has 4450mAh of battery capacity against 4200mAh.

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 not only is the best tablets of the ones we compare here, but it's also by far the cheapest one.
