Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab, having a score of 62.8 against 58.6. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0's construction is much newer, a lot thinner and somewhat lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab. These tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has newer 7.1 Nougat version while Samsung Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3 version, so it counts with some nice extra features.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has 1 GB more RAM memory and more CPU cores. The Galaxy Tab has just a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit better screen pixel density.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with a greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab, although it has less internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Tab captures clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, although it has a back-facing camera with a much worse 3 mega-pixels resolution and a lot worse video quality.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a 5% larger battery capacity.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 costs more than Galaxy Tab, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
