Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a score of 62.8, which is a bit better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's 57.6 general score. Galaxy Tab A 8.0's body is just a little thinner and a little bit lighter than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, despite of the fact that it was released about 19 months before. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has the newer 7.1 Nougat version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has more RAM memory and a greater number of cores. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a much better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has a lot better 1200 x 1920 resolution and way more pixels per inch in the display.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with as much memory for applications, games, photos and videos as the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, both have a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 128 GB and the same 16 GB internal storage. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 21 percent bigger battery size.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD shoots a lot better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a camera in the back with much more mega pixels and a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
Even being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is also very cheap compared to the other tablets.
