Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is much better than the Asus Fonepad 7, getting a score of 65.7 against 58.9. Both of these tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Asus Fonepad 7 has Android 5.0 version, providing the user a lot of extra features and increased performance. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is a somewhat heavier but somewhat thinner portable tablet than Asus Fonepad 7.

Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the Asus Fonepad 7 also counts with a little better quantity of pixels in each screen inch.
