The Google Nexus 10 has an overall score of 68.1, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)'s 65.7 score. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS, but the Google Nexus 10 has 5.1 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Google Nexus 10's body has the same thickness than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), but it is extremely heavier.

Google Nexus 10 counts with a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a bigger screen, a much better count of pixels per inch of display and a lot higher resolution of 1600 x 2560. Google Nexus 10's processor is just as good as the processor in Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), and although the Google Nexus 10 has a lower number of cores (although faster), they both have a 2 GB RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a way bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Google Nexus 10, because although it has just 16 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that admits up to 256 GB. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) captures much clearer videos and photos than Google Nexus 10, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) also has a lot higher 8 MP resolution back camera.

The Google Nexus 10 has a very superior battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has an 80 percent more battery size.
