Google Pixel Slate has a global score of 79.3, which is way better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)'s overall score of 65.7. Google Pixel Slate's body is newer and somewhat thinner, but also extremely heavier than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017). The Google Pixel Slate has Chrome OS OS, while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie OS.
Google Pixel Slate has a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a much bigger display, a lot better screen pixel density and a lot higher resolution of 3000 x 2000. Google Pixel Slate has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has lesser cpu cores (but faster), it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) and Google Pixel Slate count with really similar cameras, and although the Google Pixel Slate has a larger aperture to take better low light photography and video, they both have a 8 mega pixels camera in the back, the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
Google Pixel Slate has a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) counts with a much better battery duration than Google Pixel Slate.
