The Huawei MediaPad X2 is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), with a 72.7 score against 65.7. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but Huawei MediaPad X2 has an older 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Huawei MediaPad X2 is an incredibly older portable tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), but Huawei was able to make it thinner and notably lighter anyway.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a lot better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and a much better screen density. The Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a better performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a 64-bit processing unit, a higher number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a bit more memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Huawei MediaPad X2 and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) both have incredibly similar batteries performance.
Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) counts with a way better camera than Huawei MediaPad X2, although it has a back camera with lot less megapixels and a lower (Full HD) video quality.
