Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has an overall score of 65.7, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s 61.4 overall score. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is a notably newer tablet, and it is also a little thinner and extremely lighter than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1.
