Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a general score of 76.7, which is better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)'s general score of 65.7. Both of these tablets work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has the previous 13 version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is much heavier than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), it's noticeably thinner and also much newer.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has an extremely better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, although it has lesser RAM memory and 4 lesser cores (although faster). The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has more pixels per inch in the display, a way larger display and a way higher 1600 x 2560 resolution.
