These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has the newer 8.1 Oreo version and Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10 version, so it counts with some extra features and better performance. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, letting go a couple features and specifications.
