The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a general score of 68.3, which is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s 59.7 global score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is an older and a little bit heavier tablet than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but Samsung was able to build it a bit thinner anyway. Both of these devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has older 8.1 Oreo version and Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) counts with a slightly better screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018).
