Comparison review

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), getting a 68.5 score against 68.3. These tablets work with Android operating system, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has older 4.2.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's body is somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), although it's just a little heavier and was released many years before.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have 4 cores and 2 GB of RAM, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also has an additional graphics processor. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has an incredibly better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a bit bigger display, a much better screen pixel density and a lot better 1600 x 2560 resolution.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a much bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows up to 400 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, although it has a back facing camera with lot less MP, they both have the same aperture.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a really longer battery performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
