Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a bit better than the Apple iPad 10.2 (2020), getting a 68.3 score against 62.2. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo operating system, and Apple iPad 10.2 (2020) counts with iPadOS 18.x operating system. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is an older and somewhat thicker tablet than the Apple iPad 10.2 (2020), but Samsung made it notably lighter anyway.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a much better performing processing unit than iPad 10.2 (2020), although it has 2 less cores and a smaller amount of RAM. IPad 10.2 (2020) counts with a much better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a bigger screen, a higher pixels density and a way better 1620 x 2160 resolution.
IPad 10.2 (2020) takes clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for taking pictures and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rate, the iPad 10.2 (2020) also counts with a lot more mega pixels back-facing camera.
Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a very superior storage for applications and games than Apple iPad 10.2 (2020), and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 400 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a really longer battery performance than Apple iPad 10.2 (2020).
