Huawei MediaPad M5 8 is much better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), with a 75.5 score against 68.3. Even though the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) were released with only a couple months difference, the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter. Both devices in this comparison have Android OS, but the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has older 8.0 Oreo version and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo.

The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 counts with a quite superior hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a higher number of cores and a greater amount of RAM.
