The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a general score of 68.3, which is much better than Huawei MediaPad T1 10's 58.1 score. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s body is much newer and lighter, but also a little bit thicker than the Huawei MediaPad T1 10. These tablets work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has newer 8.1 Oreo version while Huawei MediaPad T1 10 has Android 4.4.4, giving some nice extra features and performance tweaks.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a slightly better display than Huawei MediaPad T1 10, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also counts with a bit higher pixel quantity per screen inch. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a bit faster processor than Huawei MediaPad T1 10, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has more RAM.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad T1 10, because it has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB and 24 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) takes much better videos and photos than Huawei MediaPad T1 10. Both of them have a 5 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a little better battery duration than Huawei MediaPad T1 10, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4800mAh.
