Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a general score of 68.3, which is a bit better than LG G Pad X 10.1's 67.4 overall score. These tablets come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version and LG G Pad X 10.1 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s design is notably newer and much lighter than the LG G Pad X 10.1's, although it is somewhat thicker.

LG G Pad X 10.1 features a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018). Both have the same RAM memory amount and a Quad-Core CPU. The LG G Pad X 10.1 has a little bit better screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920px, a bigger display and a bit higher quantity of pixels in each inch in the display.

LG G Pad X 10.1 counts with a much better storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the LG G Pad X 10.1 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG G Pad X 10.1 features a really longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a 48 percent greater battery size.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a much better camera than LG G Pad X 10.1, although it has a lower 1920x1080 video quality and a camera in the back with a way lower resolution.
